This is how I went from dead broke with no future to being on the fastest growing team in my primary opportunity and dominating online.
My journey started at a very young age when after high school I started working full time. After a short time I realized that working a full time job was not for me. I knew that I didn’t want to have to work 40-50 hours on someone else’s schedule for the rest of my life. I hated having to work when someone else told me to, and at a hourly rate that someone else told me I was worth.
Two years passed and I was still stuck! I was living in my parent’s basement after dropping out of college after only two semesters, and didn’t have any idea how to make money any differently. Not only that, but I was already getting into debt and really didn’t have any plan for my life. I started looking for other options.
MLM Works, I Didn’t………
During my 20’s I tried many different “options” to get away from my job. Most of them were MLM or Direct Sales companies. Here is a list of a few of the companies I tried (And failed miserably) with:
I didn’t realize this at the time, but the reason I failed miserably in all of these opportunities wasn’t because the opportunity and MLM didn’t work, it was because I didn’t work! You see, I tried to market all three of these opportunities the same way. I tried calling up family and friends and asking them if they were interested in a “business opportunity”. Oddly enough, none of them were. Not only that, but truth be told, I didn’t have the correct mindset to recruit anybody into any business. I needed to work on me.
The “Ah Ha” Moment Of My Life
For the next 4 to 5 years of my life I REALLY Struggled. I eventually got a degree in PC Networking and got a “real” job, but I still wasn’t happy. I always knew that I was destined to do something else with my life. That is when “It” happened, the “Ah Ha” moment of my life. One day after a particularly long day at work I was fumbling around the Internet and I found a little 77 page e-book called Magnetic Sponsoring. This e-book smacked me in the face with reason after reason of why I wasn’t successful in MLM.
Magnetic Sponsoring taught me that the reason I wasn’t successful in this industry had very little to do with the opportunity I was in and everything to do with me. I was the one that was NOT attracting people to my business….it was MY fault, and until I took personal responsibility for my success and stopped blaming my upline or opportunity I wasn’t EVER going to be successful.
That e-book propelled me to start my current journey which has led me to living the life of my dreams. I started working on myself and improving me. I brought every training course and read as much information about Internet Marketing that I could get my hands on.
Soon after that, I put up my very first website and started driving traffic to it through the stuff I learned in those courses. I started generating my very own leads. I started only talking to people who already wanted to talk to me about a business opportunity. I had finally made it :-)
